The cast of the very anticipated upcoming drama 7th Grade Civil Servant (remake of the 2009 movie My Girlfriend is an agent) attended the drama press conference on january 21st. And what an amazing cast, with two incredible lead actors; I am talking first (of course) about Joo Won (King of Baking Kim Ta Ku, Bridal Mask). This guy has made only three dramas, but he is already one of the top korean actor on the market^^ And then there is Choi Kang Hee (Protect the Boss), who is 10 years older than Joo Won.. (but like many koreans she looks much younger).
For the rest of the cast, there are: Kim Soo Hyun (The Fugitive: Plan B, Brain), 2PM's Hwang Chan Sung, Kim Min Seo (Sungkyunkwan Scandal, The moon embracing the sun), Jang Young Nam (A Werewolf Boy, I am Legend); and Uhm Tae Woong (Dr. Champ, Man from the Equator) who wasn't present for the press conference.
7th Grade Civil Servant is romantic comedy about a spy couple who hides their true identity from each other and at the same time illustrates about the love, friendship and internal department conflicts between the new generation of the national intelligence agents. Gil Ro (Joo Won) is someone who as a child saw a James Bond movie and grew up with the dream of becoming a spy. Because his father became rich overnight, he lived a luxurious and abundant life since young. Meanwhile Kim Seo Won (Choi Kang Hee) is a smart agent with brawn and looks but lacking in wealth, who works very hard to support her family financially. (Source)
